Aviation/Airport Safety and Risk Manager

Description:
Futron Aviation is seeking a motivated and experienced professional with experience in Aviation Safety / Airport Operations at a small or medium hub airport. Basic duties include assisting with government and commercial aviation projects for our clients including Airports, NASA and other aviation entities.
This position will be involved in aviation/airport safety/risk planning, Safety Management Systems implementation and will require facilitation and coordination of aviation safety and risk management activities with project management and technical leads.
Qualified candidates should have experience working as an Operations Manager, Safety Manager or other operations or safety position at a small or medium hub airport. Applicants should have the ability to work with limited supervision and to deliver customer briefings. Qualified candidates must have a proven track record that demonstrates they are customer driven, a quick learner, results oriented, committed to team work, dedicated to consistently demonstrating first class professionalism and motivated to resolve challenges by focusing on creative problem solving.

Aviation Risk and Schedule Manager

Description:
Futron Aviation is seeking a motivated and experienced professional with experience in Project Risk and Schedule Management. This position will report to the Technical Lead for Risk Management. Basic duties include assisting with government aviation projects for our clients including NASA and other aviation entities.
This position will be involved in risk planning, risk identification, risk capture (writing risk statements), qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk handling strategy development, risk communication, risk documentation, and risk tracking efforts (risk management tasks) and will require facilitation and coordination of risk management activities with project management and technical leads. This position may be involved in developing and maintaining project schedules in coordination with project management and technical leads to include project phasing, project milestones, schedule task linkage, health checks and critical path assessments. Within both risk and schedule management, the position will be required to analyze trends, develop reports, and communicate project risk and schedule status. This position will initially be weighted more heavily on performing Risk Management tasks.
Qualified candidates should be proficient with MS Office, and have some exposure to project risk management and/or schedule management and associated tools. Applicants should have the ability to work with limited supervision and to deliver customer briefings. Qualified candidates must have a proven track record that demonstrates they are customer driven, a quick learner, results oriented, committed to team work, dedicated to consistently demonstrating first class professionalism and motivated to resolve challenges by focusing on creative problem solving.
